[Graphite Drawing]
[Techniques and Styles of Graphite Drawing]
Overview:
In this project, I will be researching the types of graphite drawing, such as atmospheric drawings for example. I will also be learning about the techniques involved in graphite drawing and what is necessary to be successful. (this includes knowing how not to get graphite everywhere in the process...and how to get graphite powder out of clothes.) I will be trying these techniques and styles in my drawings. I may even include a few time-lapses. Who knows? I hope to help others become interested in and learn more about this topic. I'm pretty excited about this because I’ve always loved art and drawing (cause it's cool, duh) and I’m excited to learn more about graphite drawing. I want to get other people interested in this.
Mentors: I will be attending a class on atmospheric drawings at the Montgomery Museum. And YouTube. YouTube is always a big help.
